Tony Lewis  President. This is Tony’s first time as an officer in the club. He is a design technician using CAD equipment and automation programming for CNC routers. He is an avid scale modeler and also is associated with Balsa USA and is a dealer for them. He has his own small business called Dynamic R/C and he produces vinyl graphics




Steve Sanford Vice president. Steve learned to fly about 2 years ago and was a great student. He is a hand surgeon at the Marshfield Clinic. He enjoys the hobby along with his son, Ryan.





Jim Rasmussen Secretary. Jim is the oldest member of the club in both age and years of service. He has held every office of the club during that tenure. His interests have mostly been with scale airplanes with the emphasis on WWI models.





Sanford MacDonald. Treasurer. Sandy is a retired physician from the Marshfield Clinic. Since his retirement he has been having a ball with all types of indoor planes of many configurations. His main interests concern designing and testing. He has been developing his knowledge of electric flight and all the associated hardware.



Rod Seehafer. Safety officer. Rod is a retired heavy equipment operator. He flies all kinds of aircraft ranging from lightweight “foamys” to giant scale gas powered aerobatic planes. He maintains and controls the mowing chores for the club field.





Club information



     To fly and take instruction at the club field, you must become a member of the Mid State Aeroguidance club. A membership entitles you to attend monthly club meetings, and the official newsletter Just PLANE Talk is provided as an added benefit.

     The membership is renewed each year and the dues are due by January of each calendar year. Club dues are $40 per year for a member 19 years of age or older. A special  membership for members 18 years old or younger is $20. The dues are payable at the beginning of each calendar year. If a member joins in mid year, the dues are pro-rated. 


     To fly at the club field, an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) membership is required. This membership provides liability insurance for the member, and also includes Model Aviation a monthly magazine of the AMA.
